Dua lipa is a English artist and performer born on August 22, 1995 in London United Kingdom. After a stint as a fashion model, she decided to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album peaked at No. 3 on the U.K. Charts. The album had eight singles that were released, including Be the One I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules. In the United States it peaked as the 6th most popular album. Lipa's album, which has since been certified Platinum in various countries around the world has won two Brit Awards (in the year of 2018) in the categories of British Female Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough act. Dua Lipa was born on August 22, 1995, in London with Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. Her maternal grandmother is the reason she has Bosnian descent.
